In recognition of International Women’s Day, we wanted to share the story of how Clad Metal became a woman owned business; today we celebrate all women.

Denise Marcoccia’s journey to becoming a successful business owner began at an early age. Growing up in a family business, she was always interested in the ins and outs of operations. As a young administrator in her father’s company, Denise gained valuable experience and knowledge that would later shape her career. 

When life presented an unexpected challenge at the age of thirty, Denise, left a single mother, knew she had to step up. She immersed herself in the business by going back to school on nights and weekends to pursue a degree in organizational management. Armed with new skills and determination, Denise took over full management of the company including the day-to-day operations and later became a partner.

As a partner, Denise traveled to visit customers, checked on new accounts, and developed new products in collaboration with engineers. Her hands on approach and tireless work ethic played a key role in transforming the company into a globally known respected business. Today, she is the proud owner of the company.

Now, after 40 years of hard work and dedication, Denise has built a remarkable team of men and women who manage the day-to-day operations, allowing her to enjoy the fruits of her labor. Under her leadership, the company has grown to become an influential player in industries such as aerospace defense, nuclear defense, space technology, solar, satellites, automotive, semiconductor electronics, and industrial products. 

Denise is immensely proud of her legacy and the future of the company she built. As the business continues to thrive and expand, Denise looks forward to a bright future filled with innovation and success.
