We’d like to welcome our new intern Alexander Worrell.

Alex joined our team as an Engineering Intern in July of 2017. He is set to attend The University of Rhode Island this fall where he will be studying Mechanical Engineering.

Alex completed his high school studies at Sayville High School, graduating in the spring of 2017. While at Sayville, Alex ranked in the top 16% of his graduating class, while obtaining a 100.678 weighted GPA! He has achieved “High Honor Roll” and is a member of the National Honor Society. While achieving high honors, Alex found the time to be an active member of the Key Club, Robotics Club, Golf Team and Fencing Team. Alex also is a member of the band “Omega”, which was ranked in the Top Ten in Newsday’s Battle of The Bands.

While doing his internship at Clad Metal, Alex will be utilizing his knowledge and skills assisting in our Quality Control Division. This experience will help him gain insight into his future studies as well as giving him practical experience in which he can fall back on both in college and in life.

We are delighted to have such a bright and talented young man on our team!
